It was the end of the day. The kids weren't talking nicely to each other in the car and I was out of patience, so I said, "If you can't say something nice, then just don't talk."
A few minutes went by without any talking. Then Libby turned around to face Alex and said, "I just really want to kiss you."
I'm not sure what Alex said - other than "No" - because I was busy praising Libby for talking so nicely:)

I love that they were silent--totally obedient to you! That just cracks me up!
She has also, on occasion, turned to him and said, "Alex, you're just so cute."
The thing that cracks me up is I can't tell if she's saying it to bother him or if she really means it because she seems so sincere.
